Clean, Airtight Seal

The LaSalle Bristol Utopia TurboVent cheater vent has a self-cleaning design that ensures a tight, effective seal each time the valve is activated. When your sink drains and the valve opens, the TurboVent's interior mechanism will lift the valve seal and spin against it, removing any small particles that can stick to the seal. This keeps the seal's surface free from debris that could prevent it from creating an airtight seal. As a result, when the sink is done draining and the valve closes and seals, those nasty sewer odors will be effectively blocked from entering your RV's cabin.

Easy Installation

Replacing your old cheater vent with the TurboVent is fast and easy. After removing the old cheater vent from the vertical ventilation pipe beneath your sink, simply screw the main valve of the TurboVent onto the included threaded ABS pipe. Lightly coat the outside of the ABS pipe's opposite end with solvent cement (sold separately). Do the same with the inside of your ventilation pipe. Slide the ABS pipe into your vent pipe and you're done. It's that simple.

  • Lasalle Bristol Utopia TurboVent RV Air Admittance Valve Installation
Looking at your photo, it looks like the threaded piece of 4" pipe that comes with the LaSalle Bristol Utopia TurboVent RV Air part # 3447425011AAVABS is either the same length or very close to what you have cemented with a solvent cement like part # 3447530889 into the ventilation pipe on your setup. The TurboVent fits 1-1/2" diameter vent pipe. I recommend to replace both pieces by removing the old pipe and cheater vent from the vertical pipe and lightly coating the outside of the...

  • Can I Use the LaSalle Bristol Utipia TurboVent # 3447425011AAVABS for a Custom-Made Gray Water Tank?
While we cannot confirm for sure if the Lasalle Bristol Utopia TurboVent # 3447425011AAVABS works on a custom fabricated gray water tank, there is technically no reason why the vent wouldn't work as long as the installation is completely sealed. For that reason, it may be unpleasant or even dangerous if there is any holes or openings with the piping after trimming it. For the recommended sealant, that is the LaSalle Bristol ABS Solvent Cement - Black - 1/2 Pint # 3447530889.

  • How Would LaSalle Bristol Utopia TurboVent RV Air Admittance Valve for Gray Water Tanks Remove
With RV sewer pipes and valves since everything gets glued with ABS solvent the only way to remove the pieces is by cutting them off and then gluing new pieces in place of them. This is true with LaSalle Bristol Utopia TurboVent RV Air Admittance Valve for Gray Water Tanks # 3447425011AAVABS.

  • Is It Normal For An Air Admittance Valve To Make A Vibrating Noise When Traveling
You're hearing the diaphragm inside of the TurboVent RV Air Admittance Valve # 3447425011AAVABS rattling around, which is completely normal. There would not be a way for you to stop it from rattling besides upgrading your RV's suspension to help reduce road shock from traveling through the RV.

  • Do LaSalle Bristol Utopia TurboVent Need to be Used When Camper is Connected to Sewer Line
You need to have and use air vents on your 2023 Forest River Salem RKX, whether you're using the LaSalle Bristol Utopia TurboVent # 3447425011AAVABS or a traditional vent that goes up through the roof of your camper. RV builders have certain codes they have to meet and having sewage vents is one of the boxes that have to be checked. Since you're experiencing issues I recommend checking the following troubleshooting steps: Look for another trap down the line The slope on your drain isn't...

  • Troubleshooting A Non-Working TurboVent RV Air Admittance Valve
The LaSalle Bristol Utopia TurboVent RV Air Admittance Valve for Gray Water Tanks # 3447425011AAVABS is the only valve that we currently offer for this style so I don't have another to compare it to. The installation based on the picture that you provided is also correct. A few of the reason you may be having an issue with your valve would be as follows: There's an additional trap further down the drain line. The slope of the drain line isn't steep enough and is causing a slow drain and...
